Since marlanteak was founded in 1995, the company has specialised in garden furniture of truly exceptional quality.
Superior materials are a cornerstone requirement in the manufacturing process of all their products and their commitment to quality ensures that marlanteak furniture can stand up to the uncompromising South African environment with the minimum of maintenance, whatever the season.
One of the specially selected contemporary brands that they import is Kettal, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. While Kettle’s predominate material source is aluminium, through skilled engineering and creativity, innovative pieces are manufactured to achieve a distinctive level of aesthetics while encompassing functionality and durability.
The Boma collection, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Kettal, was born from the desire for high performance outdoor furniture without sacrificing the increasing demand for comfort. The aluminium frame provides flexible and light support and the soft seats made of large cushions, lend themselves to the modularity of the range. The upholstery fabrics, Terrain and Geometrics by Doshi Levien, complete the warm and cosy feeling the product is intended to communicate. The Boma collection comes standard with cushions in fog laminate on a bronze base and a choice of either cross or four standard legs.
